Group 1 Toyota Fort Bend is happy to help you custom order a Toyota.
In days past, if a car buyer was looking to make a custom order purchase, it usually meant that it was a rare (and expensive) car or they wanted something very specific. Either way, buyers were happy to pay for the privilege of getting something special, despite knowing that it would take additional time to complete the special order. The status symbol of getting a unique vehicle offset the extended wait time vs. buying a car from the local inventory. Fast forward to today, and the car-buying landscape has greatly changed. Gone are the days of rows of new cars to pick from, so if you need something specific, then custom ordering from the manufacturer is now your best option. If you need a car and can’t wait for a special order, then purchasing from the cars available on the lot now is your best choice.
The fun part of custom ordering is that you can select the exact technology you need. You can choose leather seats, NAV, and All-Wheel Drive, and it can be your lucky color: silver! When purchasing from vehicles in stock, you might have compromised depending on the available stock of new cars. You might be able to get all of the features you wanted, but it was just in a color you didn’t like. Or you could get the right color, but it had cloth seats, not leather. When you custom order your next new vehicle, you get what you want.
Conversely, by custom ordering your new vehicle from the manufacturer, you don’t have to compromise with the upgrade you don’t want. Maybe you were looking for All-Wheel Drive and Navigation but didn’t care about the vehicle color or leather seating. To be fair, you may not be able to choose each option by itself, yet by ordering your new vehicle, you can reduce the pricey options. We do suggest that you check out the option packages, as they tend to offer the most popular upgrades combined together.
If you’re custom ordering your car, then you probably know exactly what you want. You don’t need to spend your day test-driving different cars, comparing upgrades, etc. It’s simple, schedule time with one of our sales representatives, and they can educate you on the order guide and help you figure out only what you want. When the delivery day arrives, you can stop in, sign a few documents and then be on your way. The new standard in the car-buying experience is custom ordering.
