The Highlander is equipped with a 295 horsepower 3.5-liter V-6 engine, paired with an eight-speed transmission. Drivers have a choice of equipping either the FWD or AWD setup. The Highlander Hybrid equips a 2.5-liter four-cylinder engine and two electric motors that create a combined 243hp which delivers some versatility for drivers while not sacrificing any power on the way.
